Paid optimization — the Optimizer — surfaces concrete ways to improve paid performance and lets you apply them. It works across **portfolios** of campaigns rather than one campaign at a time. The sidebar labels this **Paid Optimization**; inside Scale it's the **Optimization** tab. ## How it's organized | View | What it shows | | -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Overview** | The state of optimization across your portfolios at a glance. | | **Portfolios** | Your campaign portfolios and their pending recommendations. | | **Actions** | Recommendations to review and apply. | | **Logs** | A history of what's been actioned. | ## Working with recommendations The Optimizer generates **pending recommendations** for each portfolio. Review them under **Actions**, apply the ones you want, and track everything that's been done under **Logs**. If a portfolio isn't set up or an account is offline, the Optimizer tells you what to connect first. ## What's next Get the reasoning behind a recommendation. Sign off before changes go live.
